Resin bond diamond tools

Resin bond diamond tools have a much softer bond to allow the smaller diamonds to release more freely as the tool is used (up to 3000#). It is made of resin diamond powder and other kinds of powders at high temperature and hot pressed with velcro backed. The main grit numbers are: 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 3000.

Resin bond diamond tools are mainly used for grinding and polishing all kinds of floors (such as concrete, terrazzo), generally used after the process of metal or ceramic grinding. Of course, they can also use directly in some floor refurbishment projects.

Resin bond diamond tools can be simplified to wet or dry resin tools. The big difference is that in the extreme temperatures in dry grinding can melt the resins or polymers or sometimes soften them enough, so the diamonds in the bond can wiggle enough to create a socket which leads to diamond pullout.

As a diamond tool maker, our company are devoted to create more aggressive and longer life tooling by using different types of coated diamonds or admixtures in the resin.
